Symposium proposal submissions

The 16th ISPE Asian Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology invites expressions of interest for symposia topics and speakers in the area of pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety.

Up to four such symposia will be accepted for inclusion in the program for ACPE16. These symposia will be programmed on either Sunday 13 October or Monday 14 October 2024.

Each symposium will be of strictly ninety minutes duration and can be expected to maximum of six speakers per symposium, whose contributions will be of interest to a substantial proportion of ACPE16 registrants.

ACPE16 will be held as in person meeting only.

The on-site technology will allow for symposium speakers to deliver their presentation in-person at the conference venue and will allow for attendees to ask questions of the presenters.

Consideration will be given to the country and location of symposium speakers when scheduling the symposia in the program.

The symposium lead author and speakers are required to fund their own registration and travel expenses. Full conference and single day registrations will be available via the on-line registration portal.

All symposium expressions of interest will be evaluated by the ISPE ACPE International Steering Committee and the ACPE16 Program Committee. Decisions on symposia to be included in the ACPE16 program will be final. These decisions will be notified to the lead author of the symposium on Friday 19 July 2024.

The lead author of each accepted symposium will be responsible for ensuring that by Sunday 4 August 2024 each of their symposium speakers is registered to attend ACPE16. They will also be responsible for providing the conference secretariat with each speaker’s short biographical paragraph and head shot.
