The 14th ISPE Asian Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology invites expressions of interest for symposia topics and speakers in the area of pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety.
A number of symposia will be accepted for inclusion in the program for ACPE14. These symposia will be programmed on either Saturday 22 October or Sunday 23 October 2022.
Each symposium will be of strictly ninety minutes duration and can be expected to include multiple speakers whose contributions will be of interest to a substantial proportion of ACPE14 registrants.
ACPE14 will be held as a hybrid meeting with both participants attending in-person and remote participants attending via a virtual conference platform.
The on-site technology will allow for symposium speakers to deliver their presentation in-person at the conference venue, pre-recorded or remotely. Remote speakers will be required to have a strong wired internet connection. It will also allow for both in-person and virtual attendees to ask questions of the presenters.
Consideration will be given to the country and location of symposium speakers when scheduling the symposia in the program.
The symposium Lead Author and Speakers are required to fund their own registration and travel expenses.
All symposium expressions of interest will be evaluated by the ISPE ACPE International Steering Committee and the ACPE14 Program Committee. Decisions on symposia to be included in the ACPE14 program will be final. These decisions will be notified to the lead author of the symposium on Friday 15 July 2022.
The lead author of each accepted symposium will be responsible for ensuring that by Friday 26 August 2022 each of their symposium speakers has registered and paid to attend ACPE14. They will also be responsible for timely liaison with the program secretariat concerning biographical and pictorial information required.
