Bengaluru’s climate is evergreen and pleasant. Evening showers are very common and the city rarely experiences summers with temperature going above 35 degrees. But it is recommended that you plan a visit to this city as per the time period and season.

The currency of India is the Indian Rupee (INR). Foreign currencies can be exchanged at the banks, airport and hotels. Payment by major credit card is accepted almost everywhere around Bangalore.

Dress

A smart casual / business attire dress code applies for all symposium sessions. Lounge suit / cocktail dress for the symposium dinner is requested.

Electricity

The standard voltage is 230-volt and the frequency is 50Hz. Visitors with appliances of different voltages are urged to bring adapters with them.

Exchange rates

The Indian Rupee (INT) is the currency used in India. The exchange rate is around US$1 to INT82.65. Like most countries, they come in the forms of bills and coins. Foreign currency exchanges are easy to access. Exchange service is available at the airport. banks, hotels and large department stores. The wearing of conference name badges is mandatory and will be required for admission to all sessions. These will be provided at the registration desk upon your arrival.

Free Wi-Fi is available in most hotels, resorts, and restaurants in Bangalore City. There are no restrictions to use your international SIM in Bangalore. There are many mobile and internet service providers in Bangalore. You will get free Wi-Fi in metro stations and while in the 100-ft road.

Tipping & Tax
