Purpose: To promote education and research achievement in pharmacoepidemiology in Asia, and to encourage the participation of young investigators in ISPE’s scientific meetings.
To apply for the ISPE-ACPE ‘Rising Star’ Award, complete the application questions during the abstract submission process. These questions are on the contact information form and can be completed/edited up until the abstract submission deadline of Friday 12 June 2026.
Rising Star applicants are shortlisted following the completion of the abstract review process. To be shortlisted, the applicant’s abstract must have scored above the nominated cut-off score determined by the Program Committee.
Shortlisted applicants will then be asked to provide further information about themselves including their CV and any additional information such as prior participation in ISPE/ACPE, participation in other pharmacoepidemiology / health related organizations (e.g., AsPEN, ISPOR), and prior record of scholarly material (e.g., number and types of publications, role in the research) that would show them to be deserving of this award.
The successful recipient/s will be notified by Friday 25 September 2026.
Award recipients will be presented with an “ISPE-ACPE Rising Star award” certificate at the conference close, and will also receive a rebate of their registration fee for the ISPE-ACPE meeting.
